The company in question is a Chinese company, operating in Nigeria. Why wouldn't I care that they're abusing their workers? I'm allowed to care about things other than on my own doorstep. Why don't you care?
Because I don't live in China or Nigeria. I don't know anyone in China or Nigeria. In fact, I am much more concerned about the conflict between Ukraine and Russia escalating. since I have friends in both countries.
