Do you think the Syrian regime should pay restitutions for the death of journalist Cathleen Colvin?

In case you don't know, Cathleen Colvin was an American journalist and war correspondent who was working in Syria, when Assad's forces bombed the Baba Amr Media Center in Homs in February of 2012, killing her and her French photographer. Now the U. S. government has ordered the regime to pay $302.5 million dollars to her family. Do you think the regime should pay?

This isn't the first time government forces have deliberately targeted journalists. It happened in East Timor, El Salvador, Myanmar, Bangladesh just to name a few examples. And what about all the terrorists that have killed journalists? How come THEY never had to pay? What about all the other journalists who died? What about the American soldiers who were killed by Assad's forces? Why is this lady so special? Just because they made a movie about her? What made HER life more valuable? She knew when she signed up for this assignment that she could be killed. I personally don't think Assad should pay a single penny. But how do YOU guys feel?

I think the U. S. has realized Assad isn't going away, so now they're trying to hurt the regime financially.
