Should "social media challenges" like the Tide Pod challenge be subject to criminal charges?

lofii

I feel that any "Social media challenge" that promotes mass stupidity or encourages it should be subject to criminal charges.

Misdemeanors being the full extent of a conviction with fines of up to various amounts depending on the shares/views on these challenge videos being posted.
The more views/shares the bigger the fine. A base fine of $1000 USD and $100 USD for each view or share.
Posting or reposting should be subject to charges depending on if it's being used for news purposes.
Should
There is always a stupid challenge each year that encourages people to do some idiotic shit for internet fame/ infamy.
Like the drinking hand sanitizer, "vamping", "cut for bieber", the salt and ice challenge, the tide pod challenge and now even #Tinfoilchallenge aka the Lick the ice cream challenge

People have now started opening bottles of arizona tea and spitting in it; and using sticks of deodorant and placing it back on shelves. WTF! My pits ain't safe from y'all nasty asses neither!

This shit is getting absolutely ridiculous...
