They do have a disclaimer before each episode.
@Historylover18, if they've a disclaimer I don't see the problem with it. If people choose to watch it despite the disclaimer, then they can't come and complain afterward.

It's supposed to be a lesson to treat others better because you don't know how you affect other people with negativity. If it causes suicide, there's a different lesson to learn. They probably are already down and the series makes them more down than they were prior to viewing it.
We should start a movement for that
But there should be because we often dont turn to our parents for advice on coping. My parents didn't know I ever self harmed or started using drugs. They were completely oblivious. I even tried to step out in front of a passing semi and that did no good because a friend of mine grabbed me. Shows like 13 reasons why are an outlet for teens and young adults to see what actually goes on. I think suicide should be talked about more actually. We might not need graphic images but at least a solid description
