Star Wars Halloween!
I love handing out candy to little kids in their costumes. They are excited and so cute! But when a group of 14 or 15 year old boys comes along wanting free candy, I feel some resentment. Those kids shouldn't be out begging for candy. They are too old! They should be at a Halloween party, perhaps, but not out competing with little kids for treats! And the worst is the parents who put their newborn in some costume and take him or her out. I understand proud parents wanting to show off their child but when they hold out that bucket, am I supposed to think that the candy is for the baby? Come on! Go buy your own damned candy!

I am not an old curmudgeon and I really do enjoy the little kids! What do you think? When is someone too old for door-to-door trick or treating?
