Everyone in Switzerland has a gun and no problems with it. This comes from socioeconomic problems. Regulations should definitely be revised since the socioeconomic problems won't get solved anytime soon.
@Chase7777 well in switzerland still half as many people do own guns than in america. also there's way socioeconomically problematic countries that have way less armed crime. they may be more millitant cause they have civvil wars and most gun violence is related to political conflicts and war action but even the most socioeconomically weak states have less just straight up shootings, cause some madman decided to gun people down for some weird reason.socioeconomic situation is not the one thing that explains americas extreme shooting frequency. it's socioeconomic prolems, distribution issues and regulationsall that doesn't take away from my initial argument. the weapon lobby is way too strong in america. interest groups that pursue any goals that would reduce sales are bound to fail. and exactly that is the core issue.
