*government was weakened
how is that even logical, it only strengthens beirut because they were already down and out. It's like setting a house on fire that's worth a lot of money in insurance.
@ChocoBrownieMonster How is it not logical? If the ruling party looks like a failure due to economic problems and a collapsing currency, and then all the sudden it looks like more of a failure due to “incompetence” due to old stored ammonium nitrate at a warehouse for way too long it could very easily be the straw that breaks the camels back… That is the way the media is painting the event as government incompetence. Major events that come by surprise often change things… Christians moderates control the power, Hezbollah which are radical Muslim terrorists want power. Iran constantly funds Hezbollah terrorism. China has huge lithium mines so maybe they are in on it as well...
Someone's made a lot of money from the tragedy, world leaders will pump Beirut with aid and money they'd never have recieved if it didn't happen. They can reprint money to build the city up again. It's not like their currency matters to anyone.
@ChocoBrownieMonster If you want to chase the money then there’s always the old start a war in the Muslim world by blaming Israel for something they didn't do and then sell weapons. Muslim terrorists tend to buy their weapons from Russia or China indirectly through middle men like Iran who trades oil for guns. I bet if you look around there are groups already blaming Israel.
LOL you forget the ship with the explosives just happened to come from Russia. Nothing like a bunch of bullies setting up traps for a country to fall victim on. All of what's happening is down to neighbouring countries being at war with each other and someone else providing the ammunition. I agree.
@ChocoBrownieMonster Wow! Yeah the ship was Russian… I didn’t know that. I didn't even probe into the story yet. I just happened to see the headline and explosion this afternoon and the media was saying fireworks and ammonium nitrate and I was looking at a maroon cloud and was like nope that’s not right.
yeah i thought the same, when something is extraordinary beyond belief it's not an accident.
@ChocoBrownieMonster So this morning they are blaming it on a decomposition reaction… While nitrogen dioxide could provide the color in the reaction NH4NO3->NO2+NH3+H20 that’s a hell of a lot of nitrogen dioxide, heat to carry out the reaction without releasing any until the last second, and some enormous container and tough container that could deal with that much pressure and release it all at once. I highly doubt that’s the true cause but at least it makes a tiny bit more since than fireworks and ammonium nitrate. It didn’t look like there was a fire raging for days or anything… So a deeper cover story which means they are definitely trying to hide the truth...
They will cover it up, it's as much negligence as it is the other.

Hamas has been known to store rockets there and arms.
888theGreat thats not true
Not exactly. Hamas is not a Lebanese group and they don't have weapons here. But there were weapons and rockets that do belong to their allies so by proxy it's true but not as directly as you can imagine. The government just arrested the director of the port as part of an ongoing investigation.
When it comes to defeating Israel , all those groups work together.
Its WAYYYY more complicated than that. They are also divided internally and have political standpoints towards eachother it's not an avengers vs thanos situation.
The terrorists use Lebanon , their leaders are scared of them
The people are scared of them. The leaders have all been bought and corrupted. But it amounts to the same thing "terrorists use Lebanon" sounds about right.
that really stinks
@888theGreat Hay also does the same thing in that if You over stack it it will produce heat and catch on fire.
Why on earth he still stayed so close? Its very dangerous
He didn't know what would happen, I guess. But yeah, from what I've heard, he was livestreaming the fire, not knowing what was inside.
it's an ammunition warehouse, fireworks emit colours ya know
it sure had the same result, explodes up , then stretches for miles.
They are also not radioactive and it looks exactly like the tests the Russians did in 2015 and 2017 with a Tactical Nuke
yeah they sure did hop onto that conclusion quite fast didn't they?
And a lot of explosive chemicals that should have never been stored near a populated area.
So can you explain the Special Activities Center unit that was seen leaving the area 2 hours before the explosion in 3 MH-6s? Which by the way 300+ people witnessed.
@Conspiracy_Theorist Yeah, it's bullshit you just made up.
No it’s really not, go watch any Lebanon news feed live... they are talking about it
@Conspiracy_Theorist A nuke at a low value target with few people, no military equipment and no motive? Are you even capable of thinking?
@Conspiracy_Theorist it's on a live news feed in lebanon? oh so you speak arabic? lol. you're a fucking joke.
Try typing into Google: Can I make a bomb from fertilizer?
@JoseLuisGonalez yeah no shit you can make a bomb out of it. but it's also used as fertilizer, duh. just because fertilizer is used as a bomb making material doesn't mean a bomb was made. records already show this shit was stored at the port for 6 years.was that port a high value target? no. has anyone claimed responsibility for it? something terrorists do. No. does anyone have a motive for lying? no.Conspiracy_Theorist is the biggest fucking idiot on this site and should really be banned since all he does is peddle lies and bullshit. the pussy ass bitch also blocked me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN69l78_CrcAmmonium nitrate is essentially a fertalizer and a accelerant. As an avid pyro self taught I know better than to mess with this stuff.
You were near by?
I think it was a lot more than 5x stronger.
Nah just 5. And yeah i live in cyprus pretty close
Good that you are safe then, 2020 is fucked
Not to mention, there has been more than 20 earthquakes in turkey and i felt them too. 2020 sucks
No you can't convince me that the Hiroshima bomb was only five times stronger. If that's what you think then you should perhaps educate yourself.
Damn you are lucky and unlucky at same time hard to beat that!!! Be safe
2020 only sucks if you perceive it that way. Get over it, stop crying turn off the news and be the best person you can be. There have been other explosions that killed other people. Stop allowing yourselves to be so easily manipulated.
The Hiroshima nuke had about 13 kiloton, whereas this explosion is apparently about 1.6 kiloton. That said, this is nothing compared with modern nukes, which tend to be closer to 300 kiloton.
The yields aren't really comparable since Hiroshima was a bomb, the payload deliveries are different. Nukes are generally airburst unless the target is a protective ground facility. Plus you get fallouts.
@razzmatazz090 read the comment above. If you are comparing just the energy released it could be but if ground absorbs the enrgy or most of it... it would seem like so...
@tartaasaus I think the most powerful one was tsar by the soviets in the 60s I think? With the yield of somewhere around 50 megatons (I think it exceeded the expectations) so somewhere around 3-4k times stronger than Hiroshima...
@taraarsaus why's your name that?
Oh for sure, an airbust changes it. And yeah, the strongest was 50 megatons. But nowadays it’s usually closer to 300 kilotons. And my name is like that because it’s a dutch word
Whatever sir. Comparing a nuclear bomb to a non-nuclear explosion is it a waste of time. if they can make an explosion that is almost as strong as a nuclear bomb with ammonium nitrate there wouldn't be much point in innovating a nuclear bomb.. It just shows how important this generation thinks they are. You're right, there has never been anything stronger than the explosion that happened in Beirut. Even the supernova's that have happened in other galaxies we're not as strong as the Beirut explosion.
What does it mean?
@razzmatazz090Because nukes a) cause more destruction, b) are far smaller and c) can be deployed on missiles to cause a lot of damage. You can’t really store 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate on a missile to get the effects of a very very small nuclear bomb, as you can’t fire 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate on a missile 6000 miles away@sensible27It means “tartar sauce”
@razzmatazz090 you do realise that you need a lot of mass of other things say conventional chemical bombs to produce the same yield right? How exactly are you going to deliver that large of a payloads... build superhuge rockets? How exactly are you planning to deliver 2750 tons of ammonium nitrate? Guess we should sometimes do the math before arguing eh?
Looks more like a Tactical Nuke to me. Strategic nukes are high accuracy and high alert weapons. ... Tactical nuclear weapons are kept in storage. They are typically smaller in yield and their typical purpose would be for use against an opponent's military units in the field and other key infrastructures that are supporting an opponent's war efforts.
some guy just had to smoke a cigarette , see smoking can kill you.
how do you know it wasn't an attack?
because thats what trump wants people to believe. I GUARAN FUCKING TEE IT
it was negligence (which is essentially a planned attack). Like leaving your front door open in a high crime area.
negligence is not an "attack"
we'll here's our answer...video-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/.../...41464989905_n.mp4
Sodium nitrate is not explosive and will not detonate. Like you say it could be incompetence and was logged as sodium nitrate.
So did the Lizard Human Hybrids do it?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28awO6kMwMA
I don't know if you're being serious or you're trying to make fun of me or what.. personally I think it was most likely some kind of attack. To me seems like a detonation and not just a bunch of ammonium nitrate. I know explosives expert but I can't imagine one huge explosion from a bunch of stored explosive materials. It would probably be several smaller ones. Similar to the pepcon explosion from the 90s in the US.
Of course I am serious. You have some inside information on er. . stuff. So let us know what caused the explosion.
