There's been an intentional explosion in Downtown Nashville on Christmas day. What the hell is wrong with people?

Not on Christmas :(
- Here is my analysis based on currently available information:
(1.) What was the VBIED (Vehcile-Born Improvised Explosive Device)?
-RV filled with at least a couple hundred pounds of ANFO (Ammonium-Nitrate) - attached was a loudspeaker attached to a recording telling people they needed to evacuate.
(2.) What was the target/goal?
-To take out or at least disrupt the AT&T data center, which is a major switchboard for the Southeast. They succeed as Emergency Services and Internet/Phone was down for nearly the whole day. The goal was not to have human casualties but to destroy critical infrastructure.
in my opinion: This was a "dry run" and most likely not the first bomb attack, the goal was to see how much damage they could actually do and the next explosion will likely be bigger.
(3.) What is suspicious about the AT&T building and why does it matter?
-The AT&T data center attacked has been revealed in the Edward Snowden leaks to be one of the NSA's surveillance nodes, used to track the communications of both foreign and domestic people. Not only that, but the AT&T building has a hazard diamond which shows an unknown chemical is used within, likely for refrigerative cooling of the servers.(4.) What are the possible people who would commit this attack?
-First, a disgruntled current or former AT&T or Government employee who knew that this facility was highly important or hiding something and they wanted to destroy/disrupt it, and possibly bring attention to it.
-Second, a political extremist of an anti-government nature who wanted to disrupt communication infrastructure or destroy the AT&T data involving peoples' information.
-Third, a legitimate wacko who wanted to blow up an RV and has little connection to the AT&T building.
in my opinion: It is likely the first person, maybe the second.
(5.) Where do we go from here?
-Remain vigilant, if something doesn't seem right it probably isn't, and if you see something say something. As I have previously stated, this likely will not be the last bomb attack or attack on the communications grid.
in my opinion: I would start to get into Handheld AMateur radio (HAM), as if the internet and phone services go down, 2-way radios will be the only form of communication still working and will allow you to contact others and emergency authorities.
