It’s really hard to know the cut off.

I don’t think I ever had a moment where I thought I was too skinny. But I know I had at least one moment where I knew I couldn’t keep loosing weight, if that makes sense?

After a marathon I started doing speed training. You don’t really lose weight training for a marathon because you gotta pack in the carbs to run those distances.

So as soon as I was back to other running goals doing hills and what not I lost weight really quickly that I didn’t even think I had to lose.

Still had that irritating upper inner thigh padding that is there for a reason. But the only jeans that fit me were from when I was 19 years old and didn’t know how to feed myself first year in college.

I’m really skinny again and I’m strong. But with me the skinnier I am in times like these, the harder I want to train.

It’s an obsession. Can’t gain fat now when so close to being lean and maybe it’s okay to eat fat but I’m going to burn it off on road.

I think guys go through this too, some guys.

But guys have lower fat requirements than women to be healthy. And women are told no fat on the body is good, so where’s the line?

muscles and weight aside, women need fat to be healthy. Just in the right places.

Oversized vintage sweaters (usually plain and in neutral colors)
Basic boyfiend-fit tees
Also no makeup-other than a barely-there lipstick, and my hair is cut very short.

I also major in art history at an elite art school so I'm often writing, researching or working somehow (so I like to have a comfortable "uniform" going on).

I also do buy certain things from the guy's section, often sweaters (which are better quality and cheaper). I even have this denim jacket and have seen some guys with the same one.

However, for the (rare) night out, I get out the black dress and berry lipstick with flats or heels. As you see, either way I keep things simple.
I do love nail polish, in white, red, blues.

I used to not mind, as it's just my personal look, but now I'm starting to wonder if that's why guys are reluctant to approach me. Some of them look at me, even those that I think are attractive, but they don't say anything. This has happened to me for a while. What do you think?

Also, I'm black, so I don't know if that has influence (and most black girls that I know dress up every day).
