My boyfriend is in rehab at the moment. I don't know if I should move on or stay. My boyfriend in our First relationship was a Asshole Stereotype no job, 24 living with mom junkie, Capricorn. He Decided to get clean an try to make a better future for "us". I have a hard time believing it because I had to basically everything. I always did 99% of the work and he tried to get me involved with drugs but he failed. Its hard for me to believe in him especially when he put me through hell an I had to deal with his issues (Cutting, Bi-polar, Depression). Then he says he wants to marry me an have a future with me. I remember the good times where we played in the water, raked leaves for the elderly. Then I remember the bad , the lying, the stealing, the manipulation an depravity of drugs. I've been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months and his brother has schizophrenia/bi-polar. The first episode was maybe a few weeks after I started dating my boyfriend. My boyfriend Chad came home and the house was a mess. Mud on the floor, food all over the kitchen, his door and his dads kicked in. I stayed over the next day and for part of the day his brother was lying on a mattress jabbering incoherently. A day or two later and he was back to normal.
The next episode was a few weeks ago. Chad and I were hanging out in his room and his brother started on about how the VA was poisoning people and how he needed to go to D. C. to tell the president. 30 minutes later he comes back YELLING that there was carbon monoxide poisoning in the house and we needed to get out. He kicked in Chad's door and pulled him out of the house. He grabbed me by my wrist to take me out. Chad called the cops and his brother was taken to a hospital. He was put on medicine but Chad just told me that his brother is going to stop taking them.

So how do I react when he goes into an episode? Do I confront him? Resist? That's what Chad does. I usually go along with whatever he wants so nothing bad happens.
