like to write and I edit my poems afterwords to make them even better. since schools out I can't ask all my friends so are there any changes I could make to this? Or any tips you have?

Choices

As I lay here tonight

Many thoughts flow through my mind.

It finally settles on one,

A puzzling question.

It’s been haunting me for some time.

Do we go through with it?

Or wait?

Waiting would be the right thing

But can I really disappoint you again?

I know you want this,

And so do I.

But can I risk losing you?

The one that means the world to me.

I’ve lost you once,

And almost twice.

I won’t let it happen a third.

You say you’re not disappointed your

But I think you will be

I have yet to decide what’s worst,

Disappointing you,

Or possibly loosing you.

I think I’ve made a choice though…

You said before you’d wait,

If that’s what I wanted.

Regrettably I think we should wait.

I don’t want to,

But it’s for the best.

If I disappoint you

I can make it up to you,

But if I lose you I won’t get you back.

Please try to understand, I made this choice for us.

But I promise to make up for it,

When we won’t get in trouble

I pray you can go just four months.

Please forgive me.

I know my mind changes a lot,

But I think this is for the best.

I cry as I write this, knowing you will be disappointed with me.

Just know,

That I truly am sorry.
