So I am currently getting my character designed with different outfits by the artist I hired and she drew the dress wrong. It's supposed to be one of those sexy "Little Black Dresses" that women wear to nightclubs and out on Saturday nights. The ones I gave her for references looked different than what she drew. However, what the artist drew isn't all that bad, so I'm conflicted.

So I'm asking women (and guys too, I guess) which dress would look best on Sara. I originally wanted the "Plunging V-neck Black Prom Dress" on her. Whichever one is most popular I'll tell the artist to make. Or if this one is best, I'll tell the artist to keep this dress on her.

I'm curious as to which of these dresses you think a girl ought to choose to wear to her prom.

Also, what is this tear drop hole called in the top part of the dress?

I've seen it style of dress worn but don't know what it is called. Do any of you know?

Women, how wonderful was your prom in school and did the boy you were with treat you fair?

Please share your views on which type of dress or skirt a girl ought to wear to her prom! Does it really matter?

On FB, I often get a kick out of seeing my former students get dressed in their finest, be hounded by parents taking pictures while pretending not to be embarrassed, and going off to their prom.

To answer my own question, I had a fantastic time at my senior prom. I had a great date (we're still in touch, btw). I had a great time with friends. We did the Norman Rockwell let's-go-get-a-sundae after the dance (at an old Googie style coffee shop in Santa Monica which sadly no longer exists).

But from talking to my friends, I think I might have been more the exception than the rule. Any rate, let's here from you.
