I find it funny that girls yearn to wear thongs partially because it deals with the VPL. But really half the time it doesn’t and leaves you with a visible thong line. I’m not even talking abut the ‘whale tail ‘ faux pas!

The Visible Thong Line (VTL), has to be more embarrassing than its notorious cousin (the VPL). While the VPL may obnoxiously announce to the world that we are indeed wearing panties (which 99% of us girls are so it’s no secret), the VTL not only announces that, but its appearance also specifies the type -a thong, a risqué item in many circumstances.

Essentially, the VTL tells even more to the world than the VPL or than any of us would really like to know (or even see)! But maybe the thong is worth the risk despite the higher chance of a humiliating fashion mistake, by one means or another.

I believe that we have mostly accepted that leggings can be warn as pants. This is not just because I do it. It's because my friends do it and a lot of women I don't know do it also. Leggings are nearly a part of the soccer moms uniform. They are usually comfortable and never need ironing. My question isn't if they should be worn as pants but rather what should be worn under them. I bring this up because of an interesting conversation I had with a friend and I would like to know which of us is more correct. My belief is that any panty line if visible is still a panty line. It doesn't matter how far up it is. This led me to ponder if it is important at all. Seriously who actually cares if there are lines back there or not? It's not that simple though. I don't wear anything because when I did I wore regular underwear. No thong because I hate those things. The problem I had was worrying how everything looked back there. I knew that one side was higher than the other because my bum tends to munch on undies. I never have to worry about pant lines any more. I do however have to choose leggings much more carefully. My thought is why care about vpl. My question is what do you prefer? I don't know what to expect from this poll but I hope it isn't a thong. I hate those things. LOL
