So I've been playing guitar since February of this year (about 10 months) and I'm going to be honest and say I haven't been taking it seriously enough.
For the first couple of months of having my guitar before I got a stand for it I kept forgetting that I even own a guitar.
Then for the rest I kept getting frustrated with it and kept losing interest. But I always came back to it.
I know quite a couple riffs, it's just understanding music theory that I tend to have the most trouble with.
But my older brother just got a guitar for Christmas because he want to start a band with me in the future.
I refuse to let him be better than me at guitar so I started practicing more regularly. I just learnd my first solo and ordering a delay pedal next week.

Is it normal to not take practice that seriously at first?

I personally prefer Tangled. Even though I love both movies, I just never quite understood why Elsa is such a lovable character, nonetheless, I love Anna and hercharacter ark.
