With Biden having control of all chambers, many have concerns about him attempting to infringe further on our second amendment right to keep and bear arms. However when the ATF saw this and attempted to do exactly that with the arm brace fiasco, the 2A community blasted them like hell, posting over 70,000 comments and sending God knows how many written letters to them and with tremendous pressure from gun groups and politicians including Dan Crenshaw and 90 other Republican politicians signing the letter opposing their moves, the ATF was forced to realize how small they are and they backed off. I consider Joe Biden's push for gun control after that representative of how much of a dunce he is for believing the ATF could possibly enforce such laws as a national registration, AWB, universal background checks, and removing protection for gun manufacturers. That's not all either, tons of counties since 2018 have declared themselves 2A sanctuaries and in doing so, they've sworn to uphold civilan's constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms and have vowed to ignore explicitly any moves attempted by the Biden administration to infringe on the second amendment. I hope that soon, my county will be added to that list and if not, there's plenty of 2A sanctuary counties close by that I can move to. Has your county been designated as a 2A sanctuary yet?

My answer is a strong no, I always remain cautious with them and particularly with rogue government agencies like the ATF. They released a letter stating that they will determine what is a braced pistol and what is an SBR on a case by case basis and using completely subjective means that are stated in the most broad way possible. If the owner is determined to have an SBR even though they considered it a pistol due to the brace for years, that would carry with it a 10 year prison sentence and forfeiture of their second amendment rights. In addition, they also only allowed a comment period of 14 days instead of the 90 days required by law and they did it during Christmas and required the collection of personal info including name and address to comment in the hopes that we'd be quiet and let them do this. They were wrong, massive public outcry and resistance made it's way to the ATF and it resulted in them stating a withdrawal of their notice. However, that picture was taken this morning, the letter is still up and they've continued running the comment period timer in another attempt to outlaw legal gun owners and infringe on our second amendment. I submitted my 3rd letter yesterday in which I told them how it is, there's 150,000,000 legal gun owners, 400,000,000 guns, and only 5,000 ATF agents and the police will not enforce their tyrannical and unconstitutional laws, and furthermore the ATF won't come door to door because "there isn't a pair of balls between your group of redcoat pussies". In my first two, I refrained from swearing and focused on legality and attacked them for their corruption and this time I'd really had it. Do you trust the government?
