I was on my way to this crazy party where my crush was gonna be at.

So I was crip-walking to this party in the nicest clothes ever. You'd mistake me for Chris Brown. I was just tryna impress some thots you see.

Anyways, I was walking along this lake when I heard a SPLASH!
"OMG a child just fell into the pool somebody saved him!" - I yelled... at the wind because there's no one there except me.

Naturally, I make the most logical and obvious decision at the time and continued walking to the party like nothing happen. The screaming became more silent with each step.

I mean... I just got these fine clothes and bae was waiting for me. It's sad no one was there to save the child.
Later I told everyone at the party my story but they said I was cold, heartless and psychopathic.
I responded with "I've had enough! prepare to die you rats!".
In 20 minutes I systematically dissect their premises like a frog, I call out fallacies like I was Cicero, ask probing questions like Sacrotes, and I presented my logical argument like Rene Descartes. Some cried in the middle of their logical fallacies and gave up. Most did not reach a conclusion.

Needless to say, my crush and all the girls, were lining up got sex.
They were like " oh you so philosophical I wanna have logical babies with you"
later the night, as I left the party with 4 hoes, 2 on each arm, some sore loser yelled out "sophist!" at me. but I was like "don't ad hominem me, bro, I'm a philosopher and I'm hood, debate me at the forum bro"
He puss out obviously and the girls were even more impressed.

Obviously, both are very bad things. We all probably have done them before at some point in our lives... whether it was as a child when you were first learning how to act when winning, or how to accept a loss, or whether you have anger problems and get angry when losing on a daily basis, or whether you feel a bit too much pride in winning, etc... we all have acted this way at some point. It's wrong, and shows bad sportsmanship... especially if it's in a professional setting. But not unnatural.

But either ways, one kind of person does this type of stuff on a usual basis. It's okay to feel pride in winning, or feel angry after losing, but even then, just keep it to yourself. Gloating in the opponent's face or insulting them is only being a toxic person. The kind of person that does this is: immature, no common sense, they can't control themselves, maybe they're insecure, they're bad at social interactions, etc.

Overall, both gloating over a victory, and getting salty over a loss are about equally bad. It's like black and white, yin and yang, gold and silver, cold and hot, earth vs. wind, etc... they're opposites, but equal opposites. But one is slightly better or slightly worse than the other.

I'd definitely say that gloating over a victory is worse.

When one gets salty when they lose, the opponent is just simply more likely to write them off as a sore loser, ignore them, and just keep doing whatever they're doing.

However, when one gloats when they win, the opponent will probably get upset, doubt themself, and feel less inclined to continue. Plus, winning is already enough... yet they feel the need to rub it in the opponent's face. At least the salty loser has no reason to brag. The winner who gloats does, as they already won. By gloating, they're just pushing it.
