I wanna go in February.
I already know about sites, so don't try to sell me with those.

I wanna look at the criteria of climate, cost (food, taxis, buses, trains), how easy it is to get around without a car, language barrier, and hospitality of the locals.

In Portugal I would like to stay in Lisbon but be able to do day trips as far as Porto, Lagos and the Spanish border.

In Gran Canaria I would like to stay in Las Palmas, and also do day trips around the island.

I know Gran Canaria is smaller and would probably be more relaxing, but Portugal is an entire country and although more hectic, has much more to see.

I wanna go for 2 weeks.

I went to Grenada this year instead of Gran Canaria, and at first regretted it, but then was happy with my choice.
I feel if I don't go to Gran Canaria now, I won't go ever, while Portugal I will definitely visit some day, but who knows when?
And Portugal is one of my bucket list countries.

I feel no matter which one I chose, I will be satisfied, but also regret not picking the other.

Which one should I do?

I already bought a guidebook of Portugal. Lol

Woman 1: From Southeast Asia, 23 years old, comes from a family of farmers. Is very street smart, is working on her English, seems to have a good, tranquil personality and is overweight. I don't speak her native language. Has not mentioned anything about wanting to get married and doesn't appear to have any desire to leave her country. Seems very mature and independent, likes to travel, at least within her country.

Woman 2: From the same Southeast Asian country as Woman 1, 35 years old, is in a big hurry to get married, is also very street smart, speaks excellent English and some French. Hinted she wanted to marry someone on an expat contract in her country, i. e., someone making a very good salary. Works in the same city as Woman 1, although they come from different cities far from each other. Normal body weight. Has been to other countries for work. Very business-oriented. Seems to have a tranquil personality.

Woman 3: Lives in North America. Is a teacher and is overweight. 35 years old, and is also in a very big hurry to get married. Seems to have a calm, somewhat relaxed personality. Has never been outside of her country. Is not very active physically, likes watching TV, writing poetry, and making artwork. No cultural barriers exist with her.

Woman 4: Lives in the same city I do and met her recently. Is 26 and a doctoral student. Is somewhat overweight, but appears to have a somewhat reserved personality. Doesn't seem to have any interest in outdoor physical activities. Is the only one of the four I've actually met in person (I met her in 3D, not online like the others). No cultural barriers exist with her.

I've been talking to the first three women for two months already, and I can tell that they are getting impatient wanting me to visit, so I need to figure out who to visit, if anyone.

What do you think? Which one should I focus on? None have kids.
