Well I had went to my best friend's family's Halloween get together this past Saturday night. There was this guy there I liked but there was also another girl there that acted like she was after him too and she calls him her best friend. I saw them standing together off and on throughout the night and talking about stuff. But whenever he would be in the same room or close by, it seemed like was looking in my direction. But whenever I try looking to see where he is that girl would be looking out in my direction. Then before i left, my two friends tried to hook me up with by calling him over and asking if he wanted a girlfriend, but he said he wasn't interested in having one right now. Then the next day my best friend was looking at Facebook through my page and she had automaticallt sent him a request making it look like i sent it. But he accepted and i apologized to him for my friends putting him on the spot and he said hey and ok. He didn't say much and the next day i gave him my texting number and told him we could chat if he wanted to and he hasn't texted me yet and i had deactivated my Facebook page the same day that i gave him my number shortly after. But he is really nice and sweet though. But Sunday morning after the party that girl posted pic of him and her standing really close together on his page calling him her best friend. Also when i was standing across from him with my best friend on the other side of the fire, he had walked in front of me going past me instead of going around and did it twice. What do you think is going on?

1. We've seen each other off and on for about 2 years. and by "seen" I mean it has never been official because he was not over a recent ex (who he had been with for years)
2. Last year when we were "seeing" each other I would often end it, but come back again because I missed him.
3. we did and do things besides have sex and i have met most of his close friends.
4. when he saw me kiss another guy months and months ago things got really heated, he never admitted that that was why, but he was very. very mad.
5. I didn't contact him for months and then I started getting calls and texts from him, sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes in the middle of the night.
6. I responded and we saw each other again and for the first few times we hung out it was really, truly wonderful. we didn't hook up the first time we saw each other, and he was fine with that.
7. When I brought up what we were doing he got defensive and we got in a fight about who was ruining "the thing" that we had.
8. I told him I would never talk to him again if he left that night and he said I know you don't mean that, don't say that. I told him I really cared about him, he told me he really cared about him, I told him I had really missed him, he told me he had missed me and that was why he had been calling. I asked him if he wanted to talk about this another time and said he wanted to so I called him two weeks later.
9. we hung out again a few days ago and when I asked him about the talk he jokingly kind of pretended like he didn't remember. I told him we needed to have that talk at some point or things would get bad again and he said he knew that. So we had a really good time after that, but we did not talk about what we were.
10. last way we left it was me asking him if he wanted to come over this weekend, he said he'd be gone during the week but would be back for the weekend. gave me a big, long hug goodbye and kissed me on my cheek.
