I know how some people come out to their parents, and in turn get disowned. I know how some parents act like they don't even know their own kid.

But I also know that, in some cases, the parents freeze their child out, but then start to warm up to them, and accept their sexuality. In some cases, their parents already know and accept them.

I want to know if I should take the chance. My grandmother doesn't like the idea of liking the same sex. She disowned my uncle for it. But the problem is that she lives with me. If I came out to my parents, my mom would probably tell my aunt and she would tell my grandmother, and I can't bear to think about my grandmother disowning me.

I don't know what to do. My best friend was the first person to know, then my best guy friend, and neither of them cared. They're fully supportive. But I'm afraid to do it with my family.

So, what should I do?
