Her family almost entirely disowned her, and when it was time for the divorce her family went with our family and they had good lawyers and argued she was an unfit parent, verbally abusive, and I heard from my brother that they coached my niece what to say like "Mommy is mean" and "Mommy likes to see a scary man" and "Mommy does bad things."

The judge gave main custody to my brother who has a new girlfriend, and partial custody a few weekends a month to his ex-wife's parents. My brother and his ex-wife's family still have a good relationship, and my niece sees the other side of her family a lot often.

Clarissa already had her second child but the guy she was cheating with left her a few months before she had his child. Now she doesn't know what to do because she needs to pay child support to her ex, support her new child whose father left, and is struggling because she has zero family support anymore. She relied a lot on my brother Michael, her ex-husband because they were a couple since high school. She is also depressed because she regrets cheating on Michael and not being able to see her first daughter anymore and its been seven or eight months now. She asks me to send her pictures and videos because almost everyone in my family and her family blocked her on social media too. Clarissa is really heartbroken to hear her daughter call Michael's new girlfriend/fiancee "Mommy" and how she is taking her place as mom to her daughter.
