Recently, I've seen numerous articles, takes and opinions on this site and elsewhere (like this www.girlsaskguys.com/.../a8240-craziness-on-campus-if-she-was-drunk-she-gets-to-decide-if-she-was) that would make me feel more uncomfortable about trying to have relationships with women.

Obviously, sexual assault is wrong and I'm not saying that women are out to get me or any other man.

But personally, as someone who is already fairly nervous about having relationships with women, the constant stories of men being punished legally for what seem like nothing make me feel like I'm better off sticking to having guy friends and avoiding relationships (mostly).

In the past, I've defended marriage on this site and would have wanted to be married one day. Now, after constant warnings and stories of guys having their lives ruined in divorce simply because the wife wanted to move on, I'm doubtful I'll ever get married. It's too much of a risk.

Personally, I'm not one for casual sex but if I was, I wouldn't have it in the current climate where it seems like men can be punished severely for doing nothing wrong.

Wrt relationships, I'm reluctant to try and have one as those early stages present so many potential disasters or misunderstandings that could seriously damage me.

by the way, I know women have many of their own problems and I'm not saying I'm a victim here but there are many things out there that are making me cautious about dealing with women and I'm curious if I'm the only one.
