What would your reaction be if someone offended you? (skip the story because it's long)

For example my sister offended me. She told me to talk to my brother and I said, no because last time I talked to him he wanted to kill me. The reason was that he borrowed a lot of money from me and said he would pay it back within a year, then 2 years, then 2 1/2 years later and nothing. I asked for it back and he said he wanted to kill me. So I try not to talk to him anymore, because of the tension and my sister said that I was a hater and I was a terrible person and I always hold grudges. I was like, no that's not true. Then she said I got offended too easily, I should have said she was entitled to her opinion and I shouldn't have gotten mad. She was me getting mad was wrong. I was offended BECAUSE...

1. She said I was a hater, a bad person and a person who holds grudges (which I'm not, I'm just avoiding conflict and violence)

2. She was saying I had no right to be mad at her, and she had all the rights in the world to yell at me like that.
