my crush and I have been friends for a while but recently we have seemed to get much closer. At first I dismissed all the signs but now, after so many possible signs, Im not so sure. By now she knows I like her.
In the last month (and only the last month. we didn't use to talk about this) she has told me about some other guys she's met:
* I found out she was seeing a guy some nights. She told me its just a casual thing. she's not interested in him at all. Just some fun until Mr Right comes along.
* As she's going on an overseas holiday, she talks about maybe having a holiday fling but decides she rather abstain until she gets back.
* Talks about the airport officer, some random guy on her flight, and some guys at her hotel hitting on her but she makes it clear she rejected all of them.
* As soon as she gets back she cuts off the casual thing with the guy here and tells me about it 'just so I know'

All of this is unprompted. I dont ask her about guys in her life, she just tells me her status. Nothing about them either.
We meet tomorrow night. I was thinking about asking her out. Im just still trying to figure her out.

I read some say that this kind of talk is friendzone talk and then others saying its her way of "showing she available and rejecting all the others.. for you!".

I've had a crush on my best female friend for over a year now but she has said she's not interested despite often showing otherwise. We are very close and trust each other.

Many times now she has allowed me to use her laptop or phone without her being around to watch me and I've done this with her too. One time leaving my computer at her place for a month while I travel overseas. Every time I have been tempted to see who she's been talking to (other guys?), what about, and if she every talks about me. Every time I've resisted.

The other day I broke this. I was on her laptop and looked at some of her messages for the last week. I then deleted the history of me looking.

There was no other guys of interest. She never said anything to suggest she is interested in another guy to her 2 close gfs (although the messages were in a language im just learning). In fact the only guy she had talked to in 4 days was me, and i was the only unmarried male friend for a week.

There is some relief in what I read but I have to admit I do feel terrible for breaking her trust and I wish I hadn't. It wasn't worth it. Im really disappointed in myself.

How bad is this? Would you ever do it? Have you ever done this?
