So I'm dating this girl. I've known her for the better part of a year. We both wanted to date early 2014, but a year ago her mom didn't approve, so we couldn't. She ended up getting permission in December and we started dating. It's longer and more complicated than that, but that is the best summary I could offer. But we're dating and I couldn't be happier. I've kinda been... in love with her for a while.

Anyway, we went on our first date around... Mid December a few weeks ago. Since then, we went on three more. We're planning another this weekend (it's hard because she is super busy with school and such).
Neither of us have had a significant other before, and I wanted to make a Valentine's Day Gift special. I am big into that. I am classified by my female friends as a 'romantic' and I like making things special. For instance, for her birthday, I was drew her a portrait of her favorite actor ever (a month prior her birthday) and again long story. But I felt bad she wouldn't have anything from me on her birthday. I bought her flowers. For Christmas, I got her an autograph of her favorite actor (same as above) which is almost impossible to get.

I want to do something special. So since we met last year (Nov '13) I have been saving sentimental things. We met at a play, I saved my ticket, and the playbill. I saved the receipt from her birthday flowers and the business card. I have the envelope from her autograph from England. The receipt from our first date lunch. Handwritten notes we used comunicate through snapchat sometimes. Things like that. I had an idea of making all that into a framed collage type thing. And printing out the one photo of us that we took when we met for lunch once (the second time we got together like in Aug '13) having that in the center

I'll go into more detail in comments, but I'm running out of characters. What are your ladies opinions? Too sappy? Too early for something like that? Should I just go with generic candy and flowers?

So I just got asked out by a girl who is a friend of mine through her friend (I guess she was really shy) and I had to decline because well I simply dont approve of the fundamentals of islam as well as some specific quotes. It would just be terrible dating a girl which such views. And I was pretty sure muslims only dated eachother anyways so I dont get it. What suprised me was what her friend replied with. "what are you racist?". Islam isn't a race lol. I wouldn't date a muslim girl even if she was a human snowman. I mean I can be friends with a muslim obviously as long as we dont disagree too much but a relationship would just be too much. Not to mention why would I have been friends with her to begin with if I was racist. Am I racist for declining her? I mean for me it's very important that every relationship Im in can go somewhere and I couldn't marry a muslim woman. I mean just look at this quote from the quran I googled up.
