I was supposed to visit him earlier this month and from our conversations I thought I was staying with him then suddenly things changed and when I tried to find out where I should stay he didn't answer. I waited a day and blocked him because I was upset and kept thinking he was hiding something like a girlfriend. I kept blocking and unblocking him for two days. Then I unblocked him and told him I cancelled the flight because I had no where to go. I know this was wrong of me, to ask for answers and then keep him from being able to respond. After I told him I wasn't coming he waited a day and asked what we should do? I told him to visit me we talked a little for the next day or two but I didn't want to fight so I didn't ask about what happened. He has reached out a few times this week and Im still confused and hurt by everything so I haven't replied. I'm not sure what to say that won't be confrontational. Any suggestions? Also do you think I might be his side chick, I dont understand his behavior.

My boyfriend and I after being together for almost a year just broke up. I was the one who ended things because he just can't seem to understand that its not right to be secretive and hiding things in a relationship. We have had a few issues as of late and a major one has been his lack of honesty and him choosing to keep me in the dark over some important stuff over the duration of the relationship. He has not been transparent with me fully and I believe that is a requirement in a healthy relationship, well its definitely one of mine anyway!!

The shit hit the fan on Saturday night when I discovered he had not involved me or made me aware of something that I feel I had the right to know, there was no including me in it and running it past me and it was the straw that broke the camels back in the end, I just couldn't take another moment of it especially when he knew I was upset and tried to pass it off as nothing when it was something to me. This just added to the issue as I felt he was invalidating my feelings as his partner. The next morning I decided that I had really just had enough and did not wish to keep the relationship going. We haven't spoken since Sat night.

I had not taken him off my Facebook even though I had ended things. He puts up 2 memes on Sunday taking a dig at me knowing they would show up in my news feed and I would see them. This morning I find that he had posted a big colourful big lettered post saying: 'It was fantastic to catch up with you again Melanie, thanks for the coffee and good luck for today" He had a big smiley face up and even went to the trouble to tag her in the post so it appeared on hers as well.

Melanie is his ex girlfriend that he had before me a good 2 years ago. Obviously he had put it up so that I could see it because he knew that it would upset me. I must say it did kind of sting a little knowing that he had run back to his ex the day after we broke up for coffee. I blocked him. Why do this?
