My ex went on her mission in December of 2016, after we dated for almost 4 years. We discussed mariage before she left and after a few months into her mission, she broke things off because of the mission.

We split twice before, because of the same issues. And halfway through the mission, I wrote to her and she read my email 18 times before she responded and I could see and feel how conflicted she was. But after talking for two months, we couldn't find common ground.

I waited until a month before she was due home, and I sent a letter apologizing for my shortcomings, and just showing how much I truly loved her. I sent it digitally to her original and mission Facebook, and physically to her parents home.

So she was due home, and I got curious and looked. The mission Facebook changed from Sister ___ to her nickname. But she posted she was about to leave on June 30th.

Mid July, I didn't see any changes on her Facebook, or her family's and I messaged her old cellphone number, asking if she came home and if she could call me. Her brother replied 5 days later that it wasn't her phone anymore. But I said I knew it was him, and asked if she got my letter, and he replied saying she got it. I apologized and asked to apologize on my behalf and I was hoping to hear from her.

In the past, her family has never reached out to me or even responded to anything from me. Her mom said to talk to her while my girlfriend was gone, and the three times I messaged her she never responded.

I noticed her active in social media and I requested her and sent her a message, and she hasn't acceptd or viewed the message, but she's started to follow more people. So... Does this mean anything?

It's now been almost a month, and still no update on her Facebook (s) or her family's. I even looked at their Instagram, and nothing. I just don't understand.
Is she just decompressing, is her family hiding her, or is she just simply not home yet, or any other ideas? I just don't understand. I thought I did everything I could to show I love her and want to marry her, and she wanted to marry me. My heart is just broken.

If you know the TV show catfish, you'd understand a bit better maybe.

I met this girl online (playstation 3) 😂 as a online friend at first, then we used to message each other when we was both on, then I asked for her number, and we spoke more, then it was everyday after that.

We got close, told each others things and secrets to, we both agreed to not tell anyone about each other, so we was kinda had a secret online relationship (boyfriend and girlfriend kinda thing), even tho we never met, only saw pictures of each other and sometimes spoke over the phone with each other, but we both lived in the same country (UK), I lived in London, and she was from Newcastle, she was 4-5 years older as well.

We was together techniqually for 2 years and things could never of been better, she made me happy, and I felt loved for who I was etc, she felt the same (but had some trust issues because of a previous relationship she was in and her ex beat her up after she finished work one day), she sent pics of the marks and bruises on her body to me, and I was fucking angry, I wanted to kill to the guy.

A couple months on, we spoke/ talked less, she came kinda distance, she didn't reply to my messages or anything, so I got extremely worried, so I gave her number to my brothers girlfriend, and ask her to message her for me and find out if she's OK and tell her I need to talk.

So she messaged my girlfriend, but said some complete bullshit, so when she finally replied, she was pissed off that I gave her number to my brothers girlfriend at the time, she told me I shouldn't of done that, and we had a fall out with each other, and without her saying it's over, she left without saying anything, I felt so broken I cried.

I only recently got back in contact with her again, but she barely even replies to me, but when she left me, we didn't talk for over 6 months, but I still had very strong feelings for her and still loved her and asked if she'd give me another chance and get back together.
