So the idea, if you don't want to read, is to mandate to the networks that they can't charge candidates who have officially been put on the ballot (via gathering enough signatures as they are to do now) and to give equal opportunity to those running regardless of their personal income or their ability to raise funds.

The problem is that our current process only those who make enough money, inherited enough money, or are given enough money to buy ads can legitimately run. The average cost for a congressional race is over a million dollars if you want a chance to win. That's insane and hinders democracy.

So curious, do you agree with this proposal? And since we the people own the air waves, corporations only LEASE the airwaves from us, we do have a right to dictate this legally.

Basically, the idea is to pass an amendment that does this:

- Corporations do not have the same constitutional rights as human beings.

- The people have the right to regulate corporations.

- Corporations are prohibited from making campaign contributions.

- Congress and states shall have the power to set reasonable limits on election spending.

I really think it's a good amendment idea tbh. I especially like this one comment on the video about it

"If corporations are people, how many people are they? If one corporation is one person, isn't it subject to any limits imposed on one? person?"

And those limits towards individuals? Guess what, it's at most donating $2500 per person towards a campaign. If corporations are people, then the same regulations should be given to them.

Furthermore, if you look at the politicians, look at how many of them are bought by corporations.
