I'd love to see it passed, while arm braces have mostly removed the problem by classifying it as a pistol, not requiring a tax stamp or wait time, but you still need to be 21 and while it's legal to shoulder it now and use the brace as a stock, they could change it back at any moment. This will also remove a vengeful partner perhaps from framing a gun owner for having an illegal SBR by attaching a short barreled upper to a rifle reciever and ATF will make sure any evidence that it was them is scrapped and you get charged, this will remove that. Why? Because some women are assaulted and it is men, sometimes criminal men who are committing the crimes. This is one way to sort out a lot of mischevious men who create a bad vibe in the dating scene. It doesn't catch all because some are getting away with abuse until it is reported and they are caught.
