In 9th grade this girl I liked sat behind me in math class for the 2nd half of the year. I had a huge crush on her, but we never talked to each other. We worked in groups of four the couple of times we worked in groups. Then during the second to last week of school, we were in groups of four doing worksheets reviewing for the final exam. The kid who sat next to her all year was messing with the papers on her desk and threw some of them behind him. The girl I liked got up to get the papers and suddenly the kid who sat next to her leaned over to me and put his hand to cover his mouth and said, "hey, she likes you." Of course, me being an extremely shy person (especially around girls) and not being able to make decisions quickly, I sat there and did nothing. The last two weeks ended with me not doing anything. Then next year the kid that told me she liked me was in my Spanish class and I was working with him and some girl and he was talking to the girl about how his girlfriend broke up with him and he said something about I how I knew what he was talking about since I had a similar experience he was referring to. I have never had a girlfriend, so I’m assuming that he was referring to what happened the year earlier. The girl was in two of my class in 10th grade, but we basically never talked to each other. It's been 5 years and I still think about how I just sat their and did nothing.
