So me and my ex boyfriend broke up over 1 month ago
He broke up with me coz we argued too much and so he was not happy anymore in the relationship
He treated me right most of the times and never cheated on me. he's a really good guy but sometimes I go over the top with being dramatic
We were together for 1 and a half years
But he still wants to be "friends"
So he still tries hard to stay in touch with me and to see me often
He contacts me several times a week (even some are random messages and calls)
He tells me whats going on in his life, etc
He initiates hanging out (to movie, to go out to eat, etc)
Nothing sexual
He isn't seeing any other girl since he just wants to focus on himself and his dream career
So anyway, its been over a month and I've been thinkng of cutting it off because I still have feelings for him
I just want to be more than friends :(
But he wanted to come with me and my friends to this Easter event next week and he already bought the tickets
So I was thinking of sending this message after that event:
"Hey, so I've been thinking these past few weeks, and want to let you know that I don't think I can just be friends with you. I still have feelings for you. I just want to really move on. you're a good guy. So I hope you will find someone that will make you happy and who you can really commit to. Bye, take care and good luck with everything"
And then I'll block his number and delete him on social media to avoid hearing back from him
Is this too harsh? Or good idea?

me and my boyfriend had broken up, and then tried to be friends like we had before. It wasn't working, and so we decided that even though we were both single, to take a break from contacting eachother, also talking about maybe trying again in the future. Towards the end of the relationship; his ex from 3 years back would call him sometimes telling him about her relationship problems. (He had dated another girl after) one day while I was hanging out with him and we had just talked about going no contact for a while, she asked him if we were back together, and he told her on the phone we were on a break. we ended up not speaking for two weeks, and during that time he ended up sleeping with her. we got back together weeks later, and she told me they slept together even though he told her not to. I was mad at my boyfriend for not telling me, but more worried that she rejected him in getting back together, so now he's back with me.. he told me his mom even said that he did nothing wrong, because we were on a break. (They talk sometimes) I'm wondering if y'all think he tried to get her back and she said no.

My ex boyfriend ended it 1 month ago
He still initiates contact every week (messaging me) ever since the break up
And he also initiates hanging out every week (to the cinema, dinner)
Every 2 weeks, he would call me randomly
And he would ask:
- what I've been upto
- hows work been
- hows my day
- whats new with me
- if I've been dating other guys?
Nothing sexual
I dont tell him much things about what I've been upto
But he tells me what he's been upto with himself and his friends, etc
He called me today and he asked those questions above
Last week, he asked me to go the movies this Thursday and I agreed so he booked our tickets
He asked me "are u excited for thursday?"
And all that stuf
Then he was telling me that he was going to buy the gold movie tickets (VIP class) for us but the time was too early
But in my head im thinking "the gold tickets are usually for couples"
But anyway, I've been seeing him nearly every week ever since the break up
Is this normal for exes?
Does it mean anything if an ex calls randomly and ask those questions?

I've been seeing this guy
Been on few dates
But he broke up with his ex girlfriend 2 months ago
They were together for 3 years
He said she still messages him here and there
He does bring her up sometimes when we are talking about certain topics
But he told me that he's not seeing any other girls though
He tells me im attractive and he really wants to kiss me and all that
On the other hand, I broke up with my ex boyfriend 1 month ago
Were together 1 and a half years
Im still hanging out with my ex boyfriend but this guy doesn't know about it yet
But how do I know if Im just a rebound?
Am I a rebound?
