I recently came into some money and I believe it’s time, it’s more than overdue. It’s time for me to get a new vehicle. But here’s the problem, all my life I’ve been privileged to the basic shit like a Chevy Malibu or a Nissan Altama or a Ford ranger or a Nissan frontier or a Buick regal and even a Toyota Cressida, lol that Toyota was old af! Anyway I have two choices, Since all my life I’ve only had the basic cars I figured it was time for me to have some thing that I can really enjoy Before I get old af! and won’t be all bitter on the inside when I have to make a car payment so I wanted a corvette c7.

But I also do construction and I believe in that kind of business you need a strong truck instead of a car. Besides I wouldn’t bring my Corvette to the job anyway I will just use my old beat up car. For work I can get a Chevrolet truck, it’s a 6 cyl diesel 4 door truck with great gas and a long lasting life. The problem is who knows when I’ll ever be able to save enough money again to buy an exotic car? So one side of my conscience is telling me I should take advantage and capitalize on my opportunity and get the car but the other side of myself, (The adult side) is saying get the truck. Can you help me decide on what I should get or what you would get if you were in my position? And can you please tell me why you choose that option? If not I understand, your answer will do just fine. Thank you for your time.

oh and the truck is about 10 or 15 grand cheaper than the car but I don’t wanna mess up either of them

I was born more sensitive than the typical man and 100% hetero. I’m also a bit of a hopeless romantic. It’s something I’ve always hated about myself. I often feel unnecessary guilt and shame. Apologize when I shouldn’t (very bad for guys to do this). But I also know I experience good things much more intensely than the average person. I have a greater appreciation of the arts and traveling to new places. But bad experiences are much more intense and long lasting. Regrets sting and last longer as well.

If I could trade it all to be a sociopath I think I would do it. That doesn’t mean I would want to be a serial killer. But it would be nice to have less of a conscious and still be law abiding.

The thing that annoys lots of men is when women complain that there are no good men out there because there are obviously some great men out there. I know some women were truly concentrating on their career, but then again, Hitch says, "No woman wakes up saying, 'I hope I don't get swept off my feet today'."
I want to know which is truly the main reason.

I really just want to be educated on the matter.

Just want to see what girls think. I was the type of guy who asked out girls after 2-4 months of getting to know them. But due to what I've experienced (being blinded by love and ignoring warning signs they are not the right person for me), I now wait 8 months or more to get to know a girl before starting a relationship because I want to know if they are the right person and not rush and have the relationship end quickly. But recently I've been thinking my experience is actually hurting me because of this so called "friendzone".

I've never told the girls I've liked that I wanted to get to know them as friends before dating because I want the relationship to last long as I feel they will think I'm lying. But is it a good idea them the truth, that I wanted to get to know them as friends because I'm looking for a long lasting relationship (a committed relationship).
