So I read and article about dominance in relationships, and at first glance I thought, "well that's unhealthy", but then I kept reading.

I tend to think that relationships should maintain a balance of power and responsibility. That's a difficult task that undoubtedly creates friction. However, I'm not sure if that friction is good or bad. I suppose it could go either way, depending on the particular dynamic. For example, It's sound much healthier to focus on maintaining your share of responsibility, rather than your share of power.

But then, maybe you're someone who doesn't want a whole lot of responsibility, or maybe you would prefer to hold most of the power.

I think it could work either way, but it's important to know what kind of person you are. That way you can look for someone that will fit your preferred relationship dynamic.
