My boyfriend of 6 years will not let me use his phone. And it's so bad that he would rather get physical then let me use it? Is he cheating or hiding something? Or am I just being paranoid?

Me and my boyfriend been together for 2 and a half years
I've had trust issues because of my past relationships
So I always keep on accusing him of talking to other girls, cheating
When he's actually not
He let me know his password to his phone and laptop
But I kept letting my insecurities get the best of me
Even if he has introduced me to his whole family and always inviting me to family events and always putting pictures of us on his social media
But I keep thinking he's hiding something
And when he uploads selfies on his social media, I keep thinking he's doing it for other girls
And then he got fed up

So today he ended things with me
He said he's sick of my trust issues and insecurities

If he truly cared and loved me, he wouldve stayed and be more patient and work things out right? and understand me?

I have no idea what to do/think. We have been togethor for 2 years. We have spoken of plans of moving togethor. We didn't have a proper conversation for over a week, and he's usually busy but I found out that he is actually upset.
Turns out he thinks , in relation to us living togethor, I'm hiding something, he feels something is wrong, that I'm using him becuase I don't want to go to university.
I can say that's absolutely not that case. I love him. We called and spoke about it, then he had to go and ended the call, saying he'd call later. He didn't, so I messaged him. He said he needed even more space than the almost 2 weeks we have had without a conversation.
I've noticed my boyfriend does have funny turns sometimes , and there are certain issues e. g communcation that I've talking to him about but he won't change at all. Maybe it's time to break up😢

We have been together for 2 years
So we both know each other's passcodes to laptop and phone

He showed me this girl he used to be friends with.. messaged him about some random shit
And i saw it
And then saw that he deleted his previous conversations with her

I asked him about it and he said:
"I just archived the messages to my laptop.. you can check it if you want.. its all there on my laptop.. Its not just her.. its all the other people that I dont talk to.. I archived it so I can delete them and can clean out my facebook inbox.. I only want the people I talk to regularly on my facebook messenger"

Is he hiding something?
