I think I have a crush on my teacher. I just think that he is a really smart, sweet, genuine, cool person. It is definitely not physical, and I would never want a romantic relationship with him. He's married, which doesn't bother me at all. Besides, I'm not stupid; I would never make any advances even if it was physical. I'm a freshman in high school, and he's in his mid-forties. I will admit that I find him somewhat attractive... I think it's a bit more childish than what I've read about online... It's more like getting butterflies in your stomach and that light feeling in your heart, and you feel great for a month when he compliments you. I hope that I'm not being to obvious. The last thing that I would do is confront him about it. I understand that he is a teacher, and I am a student, and there is no possibility for a romantic relationship (which I don't want). I would never want him to lose his job, and I am working really hard in school, taking extra AP and honors classes. I don't want to be too obvious and scare him away. I look up to him in so many ways. I love the subject he teaches, and he makes it so interesting. I really put forth an effort (partially because I want to impress him). I find myself wanting his attention, which seems selfish... I noticed that I somehow find ways to ask him questions after class every now and then too. I think I might be feeling this way because I hate attention from guys my age. They're immature, and I feel weird when they hit on me. I think I want the attention from someone I really admire. What I really want is a friendship with him. I find him to be an interesting person. I wish I could just talk to him for hours... it's a little weird, I know. He seems like the kind of person I would be comfortable expressing myself around (I'm a bit shy). He has certain qualities that are hard to come across, and I want to get to know him. Has anyone felt this before? Share your experiences. And what do I do?

Okay, so I've known this guy for a year now. This year he is in my french and science. He actually has started talking and approaching me lately which is a first. He is being really annoyig though. In science I put my yearbook down in the basket under my chair and two seconds later I look to find him reading it with my binder on the ground. in french I stood up out of my chair to switch groups and he took my chair right when I stood up. He always sits in my desk for science lately and moves my binder upfront to his desk even though his friends are near where I am. He took out my earbuds while I was listening to music. But he canalso be really sweet. He walks over and asks to be in my group for french. He got put in my group yesterday and the teacher isn't switching tables anymore. He jokes around with me a lot and I make fun of him and we both laugh. I didn't do the hw for today so he gave me his hw so I could ask if its right (so it looks like I tried) I thanked him for looking out for me. At lunch his friends were talking to me and then he said "Hi Sarah" and smiled which he never does. He only said hi to me which he never does randomly and out of the blue. I am sort of starting to like him but im not sure. I am just starting to get over my last crush and I am not positive if I am looking for a rebound. I think he can be really sweet with me even though he isn't that nice with other people. He also lent me his textbook when I forgot mine and it is so cute. Does he like me? What should I do?

My son is 16 years old and I love him very much.
Since one year to now he has been crying almost every night, I can hear him since my room is right next to his.
We moved about 10 months ago to a place he cannot see his old friends. Maybe he had a crush on some girl, but I don't think so.
He has never had a girlfriend, not that I know.
When I ask him what will he do for living he always answers he doesn't know, even to his teachers. He loves football (soccer) but he is not good playing it (he says). He also enjoys pro-wrestling but he says he doesn't want to end his life depressed, whitout any family and doing drugs like most of them. He has tried guitar but since he is left-handed he always ends up quitting. I bought him a BMX bike for him to get out of home since he never gets out. He broke his foot on the first day and quit. He always says he cannot do anything right and that he has no tallent or gift.
His sister (who is 14) is very social and says that he has Social Anxiety and Dysthymia, so I put him on the school Psychologist, but he always ends up missing the sessions.
Some weeks ago I was cleaning up his room and I found razor blades inside a book. I've looked to his wrists but there is no sign of cuts, although I found blood on his boxers, so he can be cutting himself on his legs.
He is good at school and he his teachers always tell me that he is super intelligent but shy and introverted so he doesn't participate.
By the way his dad is in France and we are divorced so he doesn't have that male support and attitude that he would probably like.
Please tell what to do and how to help him, I don't want to find my son dead one day. I ask him what's wrong but he always puts on the fake happy face. Should I confront him, tell his dad, move again? Please help me.
