Long story fairly short I was in a small 8 person social group that dissolved because of 2 nasty women. In the group I got betrayed, used, and emotionally blackmailed. Out of that I kept 4 freinds two of whom are female. Six month latter I started crushing on Kelly. I took a bit and decided that I wanted to risk going after her. For 4 months I acted more like a guy who was interested in her than a freind. I flirted she flirted back, I got the door for her, and I started touching her more. After 4 months I finally got up the courage to ask her out and she said that she would think about it. Over a text she told me that we should stay freinds the nondating kind. I also would really like it if you don't compliment me anymore. I reluctantly agreed to stay freinds with her. Over time we got back to mostly being friends but we aren't nearly as close as we were. We now only do side hugs instead of just full good bye hugs small stuff like that. Which add up.
Today at Church I saw her and her sister in their lovely Christmas dresses. I wanted to compliment my freinds on how well they looked. Though I was a bit nervous cause I was going to be complimenting her when she asked me not to. So I went over and said that they both look great in their pretty dresses. Kelly got really mad at me and hissed that she told me not to compliment her anymore and stormed off. Her sister liked the compliment and was surprised by her sister's actions. She said good bye and went off after her sister.
I know that I messed up but I did not think that she would react like that. Do you think that she will forgive me or do you think that I finished off a friendship that was on it's last leg?

How much do you mean what you say when you reject a guy freind that asked you out? How would you react if he did what I did?

We've been been friends for about a year and I have a class with her
Things I've noticed:
-Doesnt smile a lot but Smiles a lot around me
-when We walk, stand, sit, etc. next to each other she's usually close (like legs/shoulders touching close)
-when we work together during class that if our hands touch accidentally for whatever reason she won't pull away.
-When we lock eyes from a distance she always flashes me a big, genuine smile
-i notice her staring at me when I turn around to talk to my friends in class
-She either holds my gaze for a bit to long or she quickly glances down and smiles when our eyes meet
-She gets really giggly sometimes and laughs at almost everything I say
-When she's in a bad mood, she instantly brightens up around me
-When I pass by her friends during the day they seem oddly silent, their whole little trio will be quiet but they see me (at least it seems so)
-Sex jokes/ doesn't mind talking sexual
-little suggestive comments for ex. Once another girl asked me for something she cut in with, "I come first" and the other girl backed off
-in my personal "bubble" a lot
-Doesnt get mad if I get caught 'looking'

Sometimes she won't text back though and she can be a bit forgetful..

by the way I'm not usually this clueless with girls, just this one lol
