Yesterday morning... The manager at Hardees say I have a job interview at 10 in the morning the next day which is today.

Well when I was asleep ( took a nap ) my boyfriend helped me out by telling Connie ( one of the people we are staying with ) if she could take me to the interview.
Connie said where at what time.
My boyfriend said hardees at 10

Well this morning I woke up at 5:30 couldn't go back to sleep... Got ready at 7:00 was ready by 8:30 am. and Connie saw me getting ready. well... Because it was 4 min from the house. I was thinking ok maybe we leave around 9:40 ...
Connie was sitting, calling the people who she needed to call and messing with her computer..
Around 9:57 I knew something was wrong.
I got my phone and called to rescheduled well the manager didn't sound to happy.

My boyfriend said that i should had ask her
But Because Connie yells at me and be an asshole to me a lot i didn't see a point because she knew I had a job interview she knew I was getting ready she knew I was ready to go ,.. But yet she didn't say one word to me.
When i call to rescheduled she did hear me But she didn't say anything to me

So is this my fault or is it her fault?

My daughter lost her job a few weeks ago. I work 9-5, 5 days a week. Sometimes my husband works at home a few days a week and sometimes he goes in. So when we are both at work she’s here by herself. She says she has job interviews (mostly on days we both aren’t home but sometimes when my husband is home) she gets all dressed up and leaves. Now there is 4 different walking trails within a 20 minute drive from my house that I’m thinking she goes too instead of interviews because I feel like she’s really not applying for jobs and just says she is because my husband yells at her a lot. I have no way to prove that since I’m at work and my husband is also busy. Or she could go to friends houses or whatever. I ask her how interviews went and she gives detailed responses but trust me (she is good at making up stories, did it all the time as a kid and was a troublemaker). I just find it weird how she goes on these interviews and never heard back from these places. Granted they are shitty minimum wage jobs that are dime a dozen but still. During the summer I did take her to interviews (to make sure she went) and she never heard back from places (or so she says) except the last place she worked at (which took 4 months to get) and here she is again with no job. I can’t micromanage her because I’m so busy but I would like for her to get a job so she’s not sitting around my house all day singing and dancing and making a mess and doing whatever else she does. She’s an adult with the mentality of a tween. Never takes anything seriously and does the bare minimum to get by and gets caught up in other people’s drama and makes up stories and spreads rumors and plays pranks.

So my daughters are 18 and 20 years old. 20 year old isn’t going to college and just got fired from her last job because they eliminated the position about two weeks ago. The 18 year old isn’t going to college and got fired from her first job about a month ago. My husband and I work monday-Friday (7am-7pm). They both say they are applying to jobs and going on interviews (which not sure if I believe but I have no proof to say they aren’t other than no jobs). My husband and I are extremely busy during the week and it sucks that on our only two days off we have to come home and clean the entire house. They are two very capable girls that can clean around the house. They can shadow my husband and I and go from there. Their cars are always parked in our driveway. Since they have so much time to sit around the house the least they could do is help out and clean the whole downstairs and upstairs. In exchange I would give them money to go get groceries or spending money or whatever but only if it’s up to our expectations (they have no money for food). They both act like bratty dramatic 12 year olds. They are giving me an attitude and don’t want to do it but I can literally make them starve. It’s ridiculous they hide in their rooms on their phones all day while we clean on the weekends. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for an 18 and 20 year old that has nothing else to do to help clean around the house so my husband and I can actually have a day off. My husband thinks we should hire a maid and I think it’s ridiculous because our two daughters sit around this house doing nothing can help out or they can get out. My husband thinks I’m being harsh with that statement.
