When I have the rare opportunity to visit the pool, I like to swim laps to get a nice cardio workout. However, wearing board shorts ("regular" male swimming attire) can be a hindrance. I would rather try wearing a pair of Speedo's to be more comfortable.
In the U. S., men who wear Speedos are typically ostracized because they may look awkward/strange in this article of clothing. I like to believe that I'm in decent shape from running cross country and playing club-level soccer during high school. I'm 18 now and I try to maintain my physique by regularly doing weight resistance as well as light cardio workouts.
It sounds ridiculous but I'm a bit insecure and would rather not show a picture of myself. Instead, if it helps a bit, I'm 6'2" with an athletic build, so like a younger and not as buff version of Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm from Thailand, but of Persian descent so my skin tone is a shade darker than olive colored. Also, I'm honestly sorry if I seem a bit narcissistic; that was not my intention.
Anyway, would it be acceptable to go to the pool and wear a Speedo? Oh, a quick survey: Red or Black speedo?
