Immediately she became very uncomfortable and acted funny the moment she saw me. I finished my work and I didn't show that it bothered me that she was there, because deep down I was still so angry at her.
Her husband picked up on the tension and asked how I knew his wife and I bluntly said I was her ex fiance from 4 years ago. He looked shocked, and she looked concerned and like she was a kid who got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
I told him I wasn't gonna discuss it and we settled my fees and I left.
Part of me was satisfied with his reaction and that she was bothered so much by it. But part of me also wishes I just said I didn't know who she was. I had am easy out. I suffered a bad head injury last year and I have a scar on the side of my head from the accident and I could've easily claimed I didn't remember or know her.
But she looked at me very angrily as I left. But it's true, and bitch didn't even give me back the ring so🤷‍♂️

I booked a trip to Mexico for me and my wife. When we were there, sometimes I would call my dad for advice on places to go because he's been there more than i have and knows the city pretty well.

There was a guy offering to take us on a water taxi to a nice restaurant for a certain price (I forgot how many pesos exactly). So I was afraid he was ripping us off, so I told my wife let's just go back to the hotel. My wife was saying we should take the water taxi. But I was against it, because I thought it was expensive and he's a rip off.

So I called my dad and told him the water taxi offer, and he said it's a reasonable price. So I told her ok let's do it. Let's take the water taxi.

She was upset at me. That I listened to my dad and not her. And I nicely tried to explain that my dad is more familiar with this city and their prices. And it's ok to ask my dad because he's been here before several times.

But she was still upset. What are your thoughts?
