While I was busy with my exams he started online chatting with a girl who he knew was unattractive but slutty. He says he doesn't know why he did it. Then for around a month he kept in contact with her and flirted with her via messages and calls and didn't tell her that he had a girlfriend. He also hid all this from me.

But I got mad at him because he went out for a movie with her. He says he did it because his bro challenged him that he should ask her out and there was money involved. So he went out with her for the money and didn't talk to her much after that and told her that he has a gf.

I was unsure of this story so I contacted the girl and she said that he tried to get physical with her during the movie. But he said that he just placed his hand on her shoulder and nothing else.

He has cried, cried, threatened suicide and cried again since the last 3 weeks. Also, cut himself with a knife. All because I dumped him. He is saying that he did it for fun and that he doesn't want to lose me. We have a great relationship, we've never had a break up before this.

He has even called up that girl and scolded her for lying in front of me.

But how could he just flirt with a girl when he loves me? I don't get that.

He says he was dumb and he didn't know the consequences.

He has promised never to talk to a girl online again.
