So this one's a doozy, so bear with me.

Today I was let go from my position at a certain party supply retail chain. I was temp so I expected it, but this week I had begun to speak to a co-worker I hadn't had much time to speak to aside from small talk and I think we were getting along really well.

First off, recently I broke up with my ex boyfriend who had cheated on me. I came in the day after finding this out and this kid, who we'll call J asked me what was wrong after his usual sarcastic greeting for me (usually "oh shit it's Vicky the life of the party. Holy fuck" dumb shit like that). So I explain the whole situation and thus began the running joke of him calling me crazy because I "have thing for guys who aren't over their exes" and basically any excuse to call me crazy, even for nothing. I think he liked how it annoyed me.

He seemed weirdly interested in my love life, asking how my boyfriend was after the breakup, to which I'd correct him and he'd tease me going "what you don't looOoooOoove him?" and stupid shit like that. It sound rude but it really wasn't, it was very playful.

He would also begin to sing the songs that would play on our store radio that would play the same playlist every two hours to annoy me, which I admit wasn't too terrible and I played up my reaction because his singing voice wasn't that bad.

On my last day, which was yesterday he complimented my hair which I had in a braid that day.

Now for the issue. I don't know if he's naturally flirty or if he's just a doofy guy. That, and now that I'm out a job, I have no reason to go to the store and get his number or snap or smth. I think if I was able to go back I'd be able to grab his number but I have no reason to go back without seeming weird. So I'll leave a poll as to whether you think he likes me and if you have any ideas as to how to go about talking to him again, please comment. Thanks

My ex boyfriend of 7 months dumped me out of the blue about two months ago. We never fought or had any issues, and I was heartbroken and confused when he laid it on me.
I grieved the relationship for several weeks, and with new routines starting this month I was doing fine (still sad, but doing ok).

But over the last few weeks I’ve just been so heartbroken all over again. I replay conversations he said in those final weeks about what we would do together at Christmas, etc. I miss him so much and I don't know what to do.

He was weird when I got my key back from him a month ago. We parked side by side in an empty lot and exchanged maybe 10 words, but I wished him the best. The next week I messaged him something kind about his family and received no response (didn’t expect one as he has never responded to a text without a question in it). I thought I’d be getting over him more each day, but I can’t get him out of my mind. I just miss him (and US) so so much. I feel like if I don’t say something I’ll regret it? But also am scared to be vulnerable. Any ideas?
