Search Results: moving to a new town

I know this is really pathetic but ever since I've met this guy I haven't been able to get him out of my mind.
He would be all over me: staring, trying to hold my hands, trying to have me sit on his lap, be around me, he even told me many times how beautiful I was, complimented me etc
I could have sworn he had a thing for me, except he had a girlfriend.
Then he moved away, I moved away and we kept in touch as "friends" from time to time.
I tired to forget him and move on, but he always was in the back of my mind. I decided to never ask for news again until he contacted me and asked how I was doing.

All my feelings came back
he seemed interested and I attempted to suggest we meet.
But after the initial positive answer, he ignored me for month, only to tell me he was busy with his new girlfriend.

Please don't judge and tell me how desperate I sound etc, I really liked this guy, I thought for a month we were finally going to meet, and I really felt he had a thing for me.
Now I am just pissed at me for being so stupid and believe someone could have ever been interested in me.
I am pissed at him for not directly telling me he had someone and wasn't interested.

And even after telling me he had a girlfriend he kept that ambiguous game, telling me I was welcome in how town anytime I wanted (but maybe that was just politeness), giving me his phone number and texting me late at night, only to say that yes he indeed had mine but he didn't keep the conversation going

I am having a hard time just moving on from this. I went from "ok, he wants to meet so he's probably very interested " to "he has a new girlfriend" in a very short time and I don't understand what the hell happened.

So what's the best way to get over someone like this?

Realize he was never interested to begin with?
Delete him from social media and other contact?
Confess, write something that express fully how I feel?
Or go to a therapist?
