So lets say you send your friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, or whoever a message on Facebook/MySpace, or a text and you NEVER get a response?

I'm talking you ask them a question, ask how they are, tell them a problem you have, or any message that actually warrants a response and you get NO REPLY EVER!?

I for one, find it incredibly rude. If your friend walked up to you and asked how you were, you wouldn't ignore them would you? NO- so why do it over the internet? Things like email, texting, IMing was created to make it easier to CONNECT and talk to each other, not to make it easier to ignore each other.

I understand we all get busy, but that is no excuse anymore. It takes a matter of seconds, maybe a few minutes at the most to log on, and read and respond to a message. If you have time to log on, most of the time you have time to respond.

Granted, sh*t happens, we forget, but that should be the exception, not the rule. And some messages require thought, in which case you can always respond with "That's a lot to take in, I want time to think and then I will respond" or something of the sort.

Im just appalled at people's rudeness anymore. Thoughts are welcome.
