I work with this man and I was insanely attracted to him immediately, from the first moment I saw him over 2 years ago. But he had a girlfriend. Throughout their relationship, we definitely had some chemistry and would often stare at each other, but nothing overly flirtatious. I was frustrated because I could tell he was interested in me, but was in a relationship.. I don’t really understand that mindset - for me, if I decide to date someone, I’m all in and don’t become interested in other people. And eentually he started coming up to me every day and trying to make conversation. It was just really frustrating. I didn’t do anything to escalate it because I’m not interested in breaking couples up.. but he would bring her to the company party and stare at me while she was right there, or he would stand close to me (too close).

Anyway, I saw on Instagram that they broke up. He didn’t tell me, but I happened to check her instagram and she deleted all the pictures of them together and changed her relationship status.

He keeps looking at me, and I can tell he’s searching to see if I’m still interested in him.

Do you think I should go for it? Or do you think he’s a player (since he was staring at me throughout their entire relationship..)
