I used to talk to this guy and he was really sweet when I was insecure about being compared to my sister he told me I was gorgeous and he's nice but sometimes (rarely) he's an asshole to people but he didn't show me that side of him until I didn't want to kiss him (because we were just casually talking) then he was rude to me and talked behind my back after 5 months of not speaking he tried to mend things and whenever his cousin was rude to me he would make him apologize and he'd try to make him stop. He would say hi and bye to me even fist bump (one sided) because I wouldn't respond to him in any way. Then finally I talked to him about it and he apologized and it was sincere he genuinely seemed like he didn't even understand why he'd act like that. Now we're friends and if I get. pset he try's to make me laugh or just see if I'm okay. It's kinda weird that we're friends because this is kinda like the first time our relationship hasn't been romantic , but anyway last night we were texting and I was saying how a younger relative told me she liked my sister more than me because she's pretty and I'm okay and he said I was beautiful. I'm scared to trust him even though it's just as a friend because he's betrayed my trust before and I don't know if he will again. does he seem like a good guy? And what do you think he's thinking or why he's done the things he has?
