So I'm 38 and there's a large variety of age groups at my work. Anything from 15 to 60+ I got invited to a 21st birthday party and I asked my boss for a leave day so I could go. He asked me what it was for and I told him. He sort of giggled a bit to himself. And then asked him what? And when was the last time he went to a 21st? He said not since he was 21. I'm really good friends with this girl and we get along really well. I get many invites to 21st parties. I'm not immature but still young at heart and I don't look old. I still connect with young people. My boss is around the same age as me and never gets any invites. It was like he didn't understand why I would be going. My boss is such a boring old stick in the mud and he's the same age as me.

Do you ever feel older people forget how to have a good time? Like they lose the spice of life or something?
