Basically, I met a guy online lol. We both started talking at the same time our relationships had just ended. We spoke everyday almost all day for like 4 months on Facebook. We had so much in common, I have never met anyone I've had that with. I literally wouldn't care if he were ugly lol, I just love his personality. I told him from the very start that I didn't want to lead him on, that I wasn't ready for anything more than friendship because I hadn't got over my ex. He was fine with that and we started a really lovely friendship. Inevitably, I start growing feelings for this genuinely lovely, great guy. I told him straight up that I liked him as more than a friend (around 2 months in) and he was really shocked. Although he was attracted to me intially he always saw us as friends because of what I said so it was hard for him to see us as more. When I told him he did tell me he got butterflies though lol, he even told his boss to hit him for being so blind! (Even though it was sort of obvious to everyone else since we used like at least a hundred kisses lmao). On the same night we had the same dream too! So creepy, it was of us at a party dancing specifically by a buffet lol. Anyway, so since then he was sending me so many mixed signals; he would seem so interested in me. He'd be really flirty sometimes and even suggested a movie night and cooking for me around his! But then he'd be unsure about his feelings. He said he "thinks" he likes me as more but he's scared of getting hurt and hurting me and losing the friendship.

I am a senior in college. About two years ago, I had my first class with Mike. It was an instant crush situation. We did a lot of class projects together and started to get to know eachother more. This semester, we became really good friends. We spent a lot of time together inside and outside of our classes. I started dating my current boyfriend Jessie. Mike and I became close friends and the whole crush situation kinda ended. A month ago, Mike was trying to get my attention to hand me a paper in class. He put his hand on my shoulder but, didn't tap. He just let it there. I looked back and he looked me straight in the eye. I felt so uncomfortable. After that, he always lingered when he touced me. He offered to take me home a lot. He was really open to hanging out more. My boyfriend didn't like the situation and addressed it with me. I tole Mike what was going on and he was kinda like wow I knew that was coming. I told him that Jessie felt Mike had feelings for me. Mike didn't deny it. Instead he changed the subject. Now, I am kinda panicking. Feelings have came up for Mike but, it's more attraction. Plus, our conversations are usually about relatonships and/or sex troubles. I would never cheat and Mike is not the type of guy I would date... or even consider hooking up with. However, the butterflies when I see him says differently. I don't know how to handle this. I can't go up to Mike and say "I know you like me" or "do you like me?"
