I've been chatting with a guy since July 2020. He initiated the chat everyday for 4 months until I asked when we are meeting up (he initiated this topic in August). He said we'd be meeting that month but nothing happened so I asked if he is genuinely interested to meet. The dynamic changed so after 2 weeks I asked of his intention. He said he really likes me and think we click; and that he wants a relationship too. Still no date for the meetup and end of the month he told me he is sick and in need of surgery. He sent me a very sweet Christmas message but after that no more. I reached out sending New Year message and few days later I asked him, saying I don't want to invest on someone who's unsure of what they want. He apologised saying he's not pulling away but going through a rough patch. He started chatting again but I told him to focus on his own issues. I checked on him every few weeks and he respond; I feel like now I was the one who lean for connection. But it took him 2 days to reply to one of my message and he has yet to reply to my last message sent 4 days ago. I kinda feel he's no longer interested after I asked about meeting up. Should I drop him a text to say I know he ghosted on me and not to contact me again unless he wants a meetup? Or should I just respect the ghost?
