I'm nearly 25 and have been in this pointless long-distance relationship for 4 years. He doesn't act like a boyfriend and he never came to visit me. He told me many times in the past that he'll come next year but always has an excuse. My parents are saying I'm wasting my youth on him and that it's time to meet others already.

He has never given any gift, not even a post card in all these years; nothing at all. He is expecting me to be a great cook or else he won't marry me. I'm already assuming that means he'll never come.

I'm currently on a dating site and have been chatting to two guys. They don't know my status on fb says ''in a relationship'' and we only talked through whatsapp. One of them wants to meet me tomorrow. I told them I'm single. I want to get married and have a kid already. If one of those guys inform me they want to proceed d further, then I'll tell my ''bf'' I just met someone and thinking of dating him. I'm the type to jump into bed with a guy I just met.

I am so upset about this at the moment. Have been for a few years. I turned 23 today and never had a boyfriend. In my life. I'm told I'm attractive most of the time. Few people on here rated me a 7 out of 10. Got an 8 out of 10 in person. People tell me that I get looked at by the opposite sex a lot. In high school I was heavier and no guy gave me the time of day. In college, I was (and still am) very quiet and don't really get noticed. I don't really have any friends. I don't trust easily at all.

I've tried online dating and it has gotten me no where. I've been suggested to try a paid site and apparently I had no luck with that either. Everyone. Literally EVERYONE I've known in my life has had a boyfriend. Meaning the women I've known lol. What is wrong with me? I hate this about my life I have already come to the conclusion that I am going to end up alone.

I'm starting to think I'm unlucky in love. I've never had a boyfriend. People tell me that I'm attractive. In high school, guys didn't ask me out. When I took classes in college, guys didn't show interest in me. People seem so shocked when they hear I've never had a boyfriend. The few times I have gone out in person, it was a weird guy that approached me. I'm either too picky or just "not putting myself out there enough". I've tried free and paid dating sites, dates either go no where, things fizzle out or things just don't go as planned. It really sucks. I don't have many friends, mostly acquaintances. I have a hard time trusting people from all the negative scenarios I've encountered in my life. Why would no guy want to date me? Am I actually attractive?
