Growing up, I used to have a lot of friends. When I was a kid, I used to have sleepover every weekend with different people and I used to get invited to a lot of different birthday parties. This was my life all the way up until high school.

When I got to high school, some of the friends I had in elementary/middle school were no longer my friends and some were. I also made a lot of new friends in high school and was still pretty active.

After graduation, all of my friends went to different colleges and univerisites. I moved to Texas with my family (since my dad started a new job after graduation) and attended college in Texas as well. During my college years, I had a hard time making friends. I would make friends... and then after the semester ended, those people didn't want to be around me any longer or didn't seem to interested in maintaing the friendship.

During college summmer breaks, I would go back to my old state and connect with all my high school friends and we'd talk, hang out, etc for 2 weeks before going back to our lives.

Since graduating college, it seems that all of my high school friends that I was once really good friends with started not talking to me any longer. I've been talking to one friend from high school a couple times a month. I tried to text him today... and he sent me a message saying, "who the hell is this?" so... this tells me he deleted me.

Ever since college, I stopped really putting so much emphasis on friendship. I think friendship only works if you can see the person often. If you can't see the person, the friendship eventually dies out. As of right now... I don't have any friends, and I ususally spend a lot of time alone.
