Search Results: anniversary gift ideas

So my girlfriend and I have been together for 9 months. Through those 8 months she has met all my immediate family. I have met her sisters and brother, but she didn't let them know we were dating. I also haven't met her mother, and her mom has no idea that I exist. She hides the gifts I got her from her mom (apple watch, necklace for example) and its hard for me. Im used to meeting family within about 6 months, but at least having the family know of me. Before our one year anniversary, I wanted to tell her that I either want to be introduced to her mom or I don't know if I want to stay. I would give her a month to plan it out, and go from there. Is that too harsh?

Sidenote: she is Muslim and I know that can make things tricky in terms of dating as I'm not Muslim.

So we are closing 1 year in about 2 months and I was thinking about giving her something handwrited for a gift together with the other things I'm going to give her. But I'm not sure what to write. I was thinking about writing her how I feel about her but I've done that before 2 or 3 times and I don't really want to do the same thing again. So I thought that I could write her a "story" about our relationship or something like that. What do you think that I should do? What would you prefer or do for your s/o?
